OCEAN provides four services to support open cloud projects: 1) An online Open Cloud Directory that catalogs open source cloud software and documentation from European and Japanese projects; 2) ETICS, a build, test and quality verification support service for open source projects; 3) An Open Cloud Interoperability Framework and Roadmap that maps projects to standards and identifies opportunities for collaboration; 4) Open Cloud Plugfests to test interoperability between projects and compliance with standards. The overall goal is to foster collaboration and innovation in open source cloud computing in Europe and beyond.

8. The ETICS services:
Main Service Features
Distributed builds and test– exploiting the computing power of a
distributed environment
Support for automatic creation of distribution packages
Dependency management - advanced management of build and
runtime software dependencies.
Complex testing scenarios - ETICS supports multi-node testing
Collection of test information - from popular testing libraries
(e.g. junit, sloccount, pyunit, checkstyle etc.)
Constant quality checking of software
Quality reports - aggregated reports as well as raw data is
available for developers and managers
