delivered in partnership with the Ontario Volunteer Centre Network
(OVCN). More information can be found at ctw.ovcn.ca.
ChangeTheWorld helps to inspire youth
to volunteer and work towards their
40 hours of community engagement,
to develop new skills and to broaden
their awareness of community service
organizations.
The ChangeTheWorld - Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge is a call to action
for youth aged 14 to 18 years to volunteer through a wide variety of exciting
community initiatives.
ChangeTheWorld is entering its 7th year and is now a 6 week campaign with
one goal: get high school students to volunteer in their community.
In 2008, ChangeTheWorld was launched as a pilot project with
7 Volunteer Centres.
Today, it has grown to 23 Volunteer Centres across Ontario.

The campaign also provides an opportunity
for community service organizations to
engage youth in meaningful volunteer
roles to equip them with relevant skills and
experiences preparing them to be healthy
contributors in their communities and
schools.
The 2014 ChangeTheWorld - Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge will
be held from April 6 through to May 19. The target is to engage over
