Hinweis der Redaktion
Often they get a more professional-looking design
Sometimes, the design is also a lot more cleaner and modern
Sometimes, the look has a historical focus
Some libraries didn’t have a website at all and have now been brought into the 21 st century
OPLIN site, march 4-april 5 2011
Get your mission statement off the top front page. Your users don’t care and, if they do, they’ll go looking for it. Put it under your obligatory “About Us” section, where someone who wanted to know what it was will find it. But don’t take up your precious prime real estate with this kind of thing—same goes for list of board members (yes, I’ve seen this too).
