Large and relatively cheap:
• wind energy
• solar energy
• energy efficiency
• stop deforestation
• reduce methane emissions
Beyond 2030 a larger role for new
fuels, new industrial processess,
carbon dioxide removal

Suggestions for accelerating solar and wind energy
(not based on IPCC report)
• Solar and wind can be rapidly scaled up
• Despite low LCOE still financial hurdles
– but much less than they used to be
– in additions there are non-economic barriers
• International green energy fund may be a way to go
– could be focussed either on governments or project developers
