• RATA was founded in 1949 .
• RATA aims to bring together micro , small and
medium enterprises from the air-conditioning and
refrigeration trade across India
• RATA Newsletter was started in 2014 with the goal to
reach out to all trade members
• RATA is a non profit enterprise and advertising revenue
in the RATA Newsletter is used for the various activities
of the Association to help grow the HVACnR trade in

• RATA Newsletter is overlooked and managed by Mr. Ajit Panicker
who is the Current Honorary Secretary of the association .
Mr. Panicker is the CEO of Nova Group of companies which has
been in the field of HVACnR for over 40 years
• Ms Rinal Vira who is the Administrative Manager at RATA office
provides the administrative support to ensure the quality ,
deadlines and circulation is maintained .
• The Creative for the Newsletter is outsourced to a professional
