Should I reserve a double kayak or two single
kayaks?
As a rule, double kayaks are more stable and
easier to operate, especially for beginners. Also,
double kayaks are great for parents with younger
children and couples for photo opportunities
together.
Do I need any prior experience?
No, beginner or novice, everyone receives
paddling instructions and basic kayak training
before we launch. The guide is always there to
help you. However, most people do find that they
enjoy their multi-day trip more if they’ve had some
previous kayaking instruction.
Kayak Rental Info
All rentals are first come/first serve for date,
time and tour location. Rentals are delivered to
the location of your choice based on reservation.
Same day service is available. Reservations are
required. Kayak rental include paddles, dry bags
and life jackets. Rentals are by hourly, half day
(four hours), or full day (eight hours).

Kayak camping is for the serious adventurers
looking to combine kayaking with the unique
experience of primitive camping. Advanced
reservations are required for this Custom
Adventure.
Sign up for this unique experience and
join us as we search for shooting stars, find

and guided wildlife exploration outfit. A leader

Although Aqua Excursions does offer programs
for advanced paddlers, most tours are designed
with the novice and intermediate in mind.
Paddling technique and rescue procedures are
thoroughly covered on each tour.
Aqua Excursions offers half-day or full-day
trips with certified and experienced instructors.
Day trips provide an exciting adventure in a
tranquil wildlife habitat or an introduction to sea
kayaking, a fantastic snack or lunch, and a great
opportunity for physical exercise. Sunset and
moonlight paddles can also be arranged.

Guided Wildlife Tours
This tour is great for all ages, all experience
levels, locals and visitors! Join us on our
amazing wildlife tours and have the time of
your life!
Some highlights of the tour are:

Ocean Adventure Tours provide full
instruction on paddling, water safety, and
local history. Trips include snorkel gear,
snacks, juice and bottled water. Every Ocean
Adventure kayak tour is different and may
include:
Dolphin watching. Paddle over soft rolling
swells and breathe the fresh air as you watch
for pods of dolphin, loggerhead sea turtles,
bluefish and other marine life.
Whale watching. Whale watching it is
our favorite winter pastime. Kayaks do not
intimidate whales, they allow us to quietly
observe them from a safe distance.
You may see tidal pools filled with eels, sea
turtles and colorful tropical fish.
