A Cop's Legacy: Spare Update
1.
2. Who remembers this lovely couple from A Cop’s Legacy: Generation One. It’s none other than
Aly, Carter’s older sister, and her husband Emmett Cornett. Aly moved out of the legacy home
and took her husband’s last name. Let’s see what the couple has been up to!
3. Having children of course! This is Ashleigh as a child. She got her father’s black hair and was
the first born twin daughter of the Cornetts.
4. And then there’s Julia, the second daughter and youngest of Aly’s children, by 20 minutes. She’s
a very determined and self-motivated girl.
5. Now, I’m missing one. Remember this photo? It’s from A Cop’s Legacy: 2.3 Toddling Around.
And who’s the boy sitting at the table you may ask?
6. None other than Aly and Emmett’s oldest, Dalton. He is the only boy born to the couple and
took that role in stride, always looking out for his younger sisters.
7. In her teens Ashleigh took a more promiscuous path, flirting with the boys and rolling wants to
sneak out of the house. She never had a steady boyfriend and focused way too much on
applying make-up instead of hitting the books.
8. Julia, on the other hand, applied herself. She ignored most requests for a date unless it was a
study date. Working hard in her classes, she was Valedictorian of her graduating class.
9. Here’s Julia as a young adult, applying herself in the world of art. Notice her parents never got
rid of the potty chair they had when the girls and Dalton were toddlers.
10. She also prided herself on being a great cook. Mac’ & Cheese is one of her favorite dishes to
prepare.
11. This is when the body and personality differences in the twins really come out. Tiny chested
Ashleigh is jealous of her sister’s curves, but better with the boys. She challenges her sister to
find a boyfriend, in one week.
12. Not one to lose a bet, Julia set out to work one morning and ended up chatting up Braden
Sutherland, a young eligible bachelor who lived a few doors down from the Cornetts. They
quickly hit it off, much to the disappointment of Ashleigh.
13. Aly became an old lady much to soon. Her beauty faded only slightly and her childlike manner
still found her chasing after the ice cream truck. It also found her dreaming of grandchildren.
14. Dalton was working on the grandchildren issue. After joining the military, he started courting
his boss’s secretary. Karen Morrissey was an older woman, but that did not stop Dalton in his
pursuit of romance and a future wife.
15. He popped the question outside of the Bistro where his cousin, Dakota, worked. Though
surprised that such a young man would really want to marry her, Karen immediately said yes.
16. The couple immediately purchased a starter home, moving in together. Dalton was relieved to
finally be out of his parents’ home.
17. It wasn’t long before Dalton and Karen’s wedding day. They chose to get married on the beach.
Even in her wedding dress, Karen was a gardener, picking apples off of a tree.
18. The ceremony was very beautiful. Friends and family witnessed the couple’s nuptials. They
said their vows as the sun began to fade from the sky, the lighthouse in the distance.
19. Unlike her sister, Ashleigh had yet to find the man she wanted to settle down with. If she ever
would find that person…Instead she chose to meet suitors on the lawn in nothing but her
underwear, luring them to her room upstairs.
20. Julia, however, really had found the man of her dreams in Brad. They moved into a home down
the road from her parents and the first night in the house he proposed. She was shocked
because their relationship had moved fairly quickly, but happy and in love all the same.
21. And who could forget Bennett, Carter’s older brother, and his beautiful wife, Kerri? They lived
in the Greene home for the beginning of their marriage until Carter was named heir. Bennett
fell just one vote short of tying with his brother in the heir poll.
22. Like Aly and Emmett, Bennett and Kerri also brought twin girls into the world. Daisy was
always her father’s favorite, though a rebellious teen. She had an outgoing personality and
always surrounded herself with friends.
23. Danielle was quieter, more stand-offish. She always seemed to have a lot on her mind and
didn’t know how to express what she was feeling. Instead she spent time writing in her journal
and reading fairytales and romance novels.
24. She even got a job at the Mausoleum and would do her homework outside its doors every
night. Danielle hoped she’d catch a glimpse of a ghost. Where others found them strange or
scary, she found them fascinating.
25. Daisy was more interested in chasing a certain jock, than she was in having an after school job.
Denis Villaneuva was older, more sophisticated, and had caught the teen girl’s eyes the
moment she stepped foot in school the first day of her freshman year.
26. Kerri, always the writer, continued pursuing her goals in life. Bennett had built a writing cove
into the attic. Kerri spent her days there, typing away at her keyboard trying to bring
characters to life.
27. As young adults both Daisy and Danielle found love. In high school, Daisy did catch Denis, or he
caught her. For, as she found out, he’d been crushing on the intriguing freshman just as she’d
been crushing on him. They’re relationship moved slowly, though. They both had careers they
wanted to pursue before getting married and having children.
28. Danielle came out to her parents soon after graduating high school, bringing Alyssa Fultz home
with her. Alyssa had been a longtime friend of Danielle’s, since grade school. Both Bennett and
Kerri embraced this side of their daughter and supported her.
29. Once Daisy had established herself at City Hall, Denis couldn’t wait anymore. He took the love
of his life to a beautiful park and popped the question. Thrown off guard, Daisy almost said no.
But the look in Denis’s eyes reminded her of how much she loved him.
30. The wedding took place the next month. No, the couple didn’t have anything to hide, they just
couldn’t wait to be husband and wife. Kerri had offered Daisy her wedding dress, but the young
woman had politely declined.
31. Danielle came out to the rest of her family at the wedding, bringing Alyssa as her date. She
couldn’t imagine spending her life with anyone else. Her best friend through the years was also
the love of her life.
And that’s what the spares have been up to. Well, more like what their children have been up to!
Stay tuned for the final chapter of A Cop’s Legacy: Generation Two and the results of the heir poll.
