1. Plan your study
• Start early -The earlier you start, the more prepared you will be
• Set realistic goals
• Work backwards from the exam date
• Plan your 24 hours – Study, Sleep, Meals, Breaks, Other
• Reading, Writing, Revision, Last Minute Revision plan
• Stick to your plan as best as you can.
• Don’t be too hard on yourself if you don’t stick to the plan. Review and
revise the plan if necessary.

• Practice, Practice, Practice!! – Past papers, notes, ref books
• Avoid postponing study of difficult subjects. Get help from your friends,
seniors, teachers

• Switch off the wi-fi on your laptop if you don’t need the internet
• Keep away from Cricket matches, internet chats, phone calls from friends

Remember, inadequate sleep makes you feel dull, sick and affects your memory,

• Do some stretching, Yoga, Deep breathing
• Listen to soothing music

• If you feel like you are struggling, talk to someone
• Speak about the pressure you feel, your concerns to your KP, friend or a
family member who will be able to offer advice on how to manage it

• Have sufficient sleep
• Eat properly
• Reach exam hall in time
• Do not study or discuss till last minute
• Avoid other stressed people
• Relax at least 10 minutes before the exam
• Read the paper with full attention
• Do not get worried if you find the question paper difficult.
Start with something you know
• Avoid the exam "post-mortem”. You don’t need to know
how other people fared in the exam. You’ve done your best,
you can’t go back and change your answers. So, the
moment you step out of the exam hall, focus on your next
