I attended the department of Anaesthesia at Papworth hospital from February until March 1994. I spent plenty of time in
theatre, observing all aspects of cardiothoracic anaesthesia. During the final week I was attached to Transplant Unit where I
studied the management of the transplant Patient.

month. Average rating was about, 24 cardiothoracic and vascular patients per

Those 6 years I am conclusive partner, of the director of Cardiothoracic Clinic. I am
responsible for the anaesthetic management of his (private practice) patients,
having also postoperative consultation in the ICU, helping to resolve any specific
issue that appears.
Reporting to: I am Consultant and Director in my private practice, and I am reporting to my,
(almost exclusive) cardiothoracic surgeon partner and any other partner for any
issue relative to anaesthesia.
Anesthesia acts provided: Anaesthesia for on pump, off pump, minimal invasive, endoscopic thoracic and
cardiac procedures, anaesthesia for vascular and intravascular procedures, and not
often, for endoscopic and open procedures of General Surgery.
Special equipment used: All equipment used for advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
Special semi flexible optical device (KARL STORZ - BONFILS) used for difficult airway
management.
Management experience Expert to manage patients with severely impaired cardiovascular operation
