Leader Controls System Design Engineer.
Design the Battery Storage 1.5 Mw , Li Ion batteries with ABB ( DC/ AC) inverter to supply 600Vac / 300 KVA/h
output to the Utility Power source. Customers: Hydro One Toronto. Design the mechanical package enclosure
54 Ft, long including the ventilation, Heaters for the cold temperature and the AC cooling system to maintain the
batteries at 25 C
Redesign the production line for a small unit 300KVA for a new customer HATCH Quebec.
Design the mechanical enclosure package 20Ft long for the low temperature at -40C for the mining application,
North of Quebec, North Pole
Lead Electrical Design System ( Projects ) for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers for all the projects.
Support the Manufacture and Engineering team for production and testing all the equipment designed.
Design the electrical and mechanical projects for Toromont, Bosh Germany and USA for Battery Storage Units
including battery compartment with the batteries racks, ABB inverters, Transformers to connect to the Grid.
Perform all the tests require with ESA and CSA inspector to have the approvals for the electrical and mechanical

• Collect the data from the assembly line to improve the productivity. Updated the PLC programs ( RSlogix 500
& 5000) for 11 automated assembly stations with Motoman robots. Increased the productivity from 74% to
98.9% for the assembly line DL6.

Electrical Design Engineer
• Responsible for engineering design, electrical and mechanical projects for Caterpillar Power Systems
generators, diesel and natural gas up to 10 MW.
• Program the OBD/ECM and the generator control module EMCP 4.3/ 4.4 on the engines and generators to
obtain the best Energy Power Quality
• Provide Engineering Design for the Power System equipment to integrate the Ac generators (Caterpillar) with
the Automatic Transfer Switches or Switchgear Controls (Caterpillar, Eaton, Thomson Technology,
Commercial Switchgear, e.t.c) configuration for paralleling of 2 or more generators in the Distribution System.
• Design a complete Power System including: Generators, ATS and UPS and Distribution panels for Nuclear
Plants (Bruce Power), Ontario Power Generation, Defense Military, Hydro One, Metrolinx Toronto, MTO, etc.

• Responsible for designing the newest underground mining equipment for the Coal Division including the
first explosion proof Caterpillar electronic control engine with OBD / ECM up to 275 HP..
• Replaced all the sensors from the electronic engine with intrinsically safe sensors for the explosion proof
application.
• Read the sensors output and reprogram the Electronic Control Module (ECM 3 / OBD ) using PLC.
• Adjusted the ECM/OBD program to obtain a low engine emission for Tier 2 and Tier 3 level.
• Convert the data from the engine from OBD, protocol J1939 ( Heavy duty equipment ) to RS 232 and
transfer the data to HMI for engine performance monitoring.
3. • Working close with Caterpillar and perform all the test require with OBD/ ECM for (Engine Temperature,
emission, cooling, e.t.c ) to obtain the best emission performance for mine underground coal application.
• Hold the innovation patent for the first explosion proof electronic engine in North America. Approved by
• Mine And Safety Health Administration, USA Federal Government.
• Design the first Diesel Power Pack for the underground explosion proof electronic Caterpillar diesel engine
in North America, Europe and Australia using PLC and communication protocol J1939, CANbus. Designed
the electrical system for Caterpillar engines with P.L.C/ OBD/ECM.
• Have the products approved in 2006 with the patent innovation on my name in North America, Canada,
U.K, and South Africa for the electrical design, explosion proof, underground mining ( coal ) application in
methane application
• Programmed the P.L.C. for the Caterpillar engines and monitored the performance from OBD/ECM to be
in accordance with international standards and regulations for underground coal mining equipment,
approved by (M.S.H.A.). and (ATEX) for Europe and Australia.
• Designed the electrical system for underground diesel trucks, loaders and battery scope; Designed the first
mining AC explosion proof scope loader in North America running on the battery and use the inverter to
supply DC voltage to the AC traction and pump motors.
