1. • Clickview is completely online – the Clickview player system is obsolete.
• We now have single sign on for students and teachers, which bypasses any
login issues.
• We have been with Clickview since the beginning – our library is extensive.
Access is easy – all staff and
students have immediate
access to Clickview Online
through a button on the
dashboard of MyPortal.
2.
3. You have immediate access to three different
libraries of videos.
The Clickview Digital Video Library is curated
and maintained by Clickview. These videos have
been mapped to the National Curriculum.
Clickview also curates and maintains a library of
Primary based resources.
The St Catherine’s Digital Video Library is
curated by Library Staff. It contains resources
relevant to what we teach, as well as TV
programs/episodes that have been requested by
staff.
4. You can also view
the Clickview
Exchange.
This is a pool of
resources from all
schools that use
Clickview.
This is where we can
view what’s out
there and available
to us!
5. Want something
from the
Exchange?
You need to
request, or ‘push’
it through to the St
Catherine’s Library.
The Library staff
then act on this
‘push’ request and
access the video
for you.
Note that many
videos have
accompanying
teaching
resources.
6. Each teacher also has access to a 10GB workspace, where you can upload your own
videos. These videos can be set to ‘public’, ‘private’, or as only accessible to users within
your school.
You can provide students with a direct link to videos on your workspace (through
MyPortal), or ‘push’ them through to the St Catherine’s Library for others to use.
7. Create playlists of videos for a particular subject or topic.
These playlists can be shared with others.
8. To add a video to an existing playlist, click
‘Add to Playlist’ or look for the star button.
9. Use Albert to search
for Australian
Curriculum specific
resources.
