My responsibilities as an Electrician included attending to any breakdowns, change overs
and routine checks. Maintaining and troubleshooting of computer controlled systems,
repairs of industrial control systems, servicing of motors, compressors (air, CO2 and
ammonia), boilers and some instruments. Designing computer controller systems,
upgrading of electrical control systems for plant machinery and utility systems. I was also
involved in maintenance of plastic extrusion lines.

Trintoc is an integrated oil company engaged in exploration and production of petroleum
– crude oil and natural gas – both on land and offshore, refining of crude oil and
international marketing of petroleum products. This company is a state owned enterprise
and was formerly owned by Texaco, Inc.
My responsibilities as an Electrician included constructing and maintaining power and light
installations and electrical equipment, carrying out such tasks as making plain-end and
screwed conduit and wiring installations for industrial and domestic purposes, including
the wiring in plants. Preparing the termination and mounting low tension, armoured, rubber
insulated cables and low tension, paper insulated cables, installing and maintaining electric
motors and control equipment. Effecting the overhaul of motors, starters and welding gear.
Replacing fuses in high tension systems. Setting and erecting structural wire for low
tension voltages, setting and erecting structural steel for field camp and refinery
transformer stations of 6,600/415/230 volts.

With Information Technology, E-Commerce being a part of productivity, I have sound
