as the earnings allocation from one payroll to the next
• You can have costs such as health insurance, employer taxes, and retirement match follow the
earnings distributions from the timesheet
• Or you have the option of specifying a unique distribution for a specific item

Manage leave accruals and leave taken:
• MIP payroll makes it easy to accrue leave hours for employees based on various
calculation methods, and record hours taken against their balance
• Employees can see their leave activity on their check stubs, and various reports
are also available in the system for leave activity and accrued leave liability

Seamlessly transfer payroll entries to accounting:
• MIP Payroll automatically generates a journal entry from the details of your
payroll calculation.
• Provides a Transfer process that writes the entry automatically
• Has a Pre-Transfer option allowing you to first preview the entry in detail
• Option to transfer payroll entry in summary or in detail
• Option to do period end accrual, so if a portion of your pay period needs to accrue back to a
specific date you can set the accrual date and % of accrual
• Option to Undo the Transfer to accounting if an adjustment needs to be made to any chart of
accounts coding

Tax reports generate within the system and pre-fill with payroll data:
• MIP Payroll has tax reporting built in to generate Federal, State, and some Local
reports, as well as year-end reporting such as W-2s.
• Option to print official forms or e-file through the system
• Forms will populate with payroll data with only a few specific fields that need to be filled in
manually
• Provides ability to submit tax amounts due through the e-filing process
• Easy step-by-step wizard walks you through each form
• Provides test-run options for you to use prior to submitting

Abila 2019.1.0 was released a few weeks ago
There was an issue identified related to attachments, and a fix has been provided
If you haven’t upgraded to 2019 yet, please make your IT Manager aware of the fix so that it can also be applied.

Beginning March 31, 2019, the following Microsoft products will no longer be supported:

Windows Server 2008R2
SQL 2008R2
Please check with your IT Manager or hosting provider to prepare for this phase out. Spring will be here before we know
it!
