That	is	why	I	ran	a	one-question	Quick	Poll	in	
February	asking	organizations	to	share	their	
toughest	challenges.	The	results	are	summarized	
in	this	short	document.

gains	associated	with	social	collaboration.	
Keep	the	organization	aligned	with	the	needs	of	
all	generations	within	an	organization.	Avoid	
being	stuck	between	keeping	status	quo	versus	
starting	to	accept,	understand	and	make	use	of	
the	continuous	change.

Build	consensus	on	the	organization's	identity	
and	purpose,	as	well	as	a	deep	and	broad

Internal	cooperation	is	still	a	challenge	-	some	
groups	still	do	not	see	the	value	of	letting	go	of	
what	they	see	as	their	domain	in	order	to	
move	the	entire	organization	forward.	Of	
course,	senior	management	could	help	with	this	
by	articulating	their	strategy	and	setting	
appropriate	expectations.
