I've completed my Master of Studies in Biological Sciences (Cl. LM6) address to Molecular
Diagnostics and Biotechnology on December 13th, 2012 at University of Camerino, Italy.
As part of the requirements for this degree, I am involved in molecular biology techniques
such as Analytical methods, high-performance in solution: HPLC. Instrumentation, use strategies
and applications. DNA isolation, PCR, cloning, library construction, sample preparation, in situ
hybridizations, gene silencing assays (VIGS), transgenic techniques, protein-protein interaction and
DNA binding assays, analyses of protein (ELISA), whole-genome gene expression (microarrays /
transcriptome sequencing), molecular evolution analyses, phylogenetic methods, editing sequence
data, using genomic database and searching tools, running phylogenetic and population genetic
software, data interpretation, and bioinformatics such as computational problems in Genomics and
Proteomics; E-science and in-silico experiments; Introduction to visual programming and to
workflow formalisms and standards; Introduction to Workflows Management Systems; Workflows
programming; Introduction to the Linux operating system and its shell commands; Introduction to
the Perl script programming language, that have given me experience in research subjects and with
the analysis of the data collected.
The Study Course I've attended provides specific knowledge in the field of Molecular Parasitology,
in particular, a wide view of the most update research in the field; a deep insight to the diagnostic
and biotechnological application in the field; specific lab skills for reserach applications, by
focusing to: 1) The most update applications of the molecular diagnostic in Parasitology (PCR based
methods VS sierological and morphological analysis); 2) The Biotechnological application in the
field of the Molecular Parasitology (i.e. development of vaccine, transgenic and partransgenic
vectors, comparative genomics ad proteomics.).
Biotechnological application in the field of Agri-Food Biotechnology.
Other skills are aimed in the introduction to Recombinant DNA; Restriction and modification
enzymes; PCR and RT-PCR; Vectors for Cloning: Plasmids, bacteriophages, cosmids and Bacterial
Artificial Chromosomes (BACs). Preparation and transformation of competent cells of E. coli;
Manual and Automatic sequencing of DNA; Promoters in mammals; System Cre / loxP. Transgenic
Models Module allows the acquisition of knowledges in: Random Listing of Transgene, a gene
silencing by homologous recombination; Study of promoter sequences using reporter genes;
Conditional Models.
My Graduate course in Biology (Cl. 12) to address as environmental, has provided expertise about the
environmental monitoring with biomarkers, in hygiene, ecology and biomonitoring.
My Graduate thesis in Biology has been on the role of hTERT Gene's Polymorphism upon
Breast Cancer, titled "Polimorfismo del Gene hTERT nei Tumori al seno".
My Masters thesis has been on Molecular Ecology, titled "Analysis of the Genome from the
Psychrophilic Antarctic Ciliate Euplotes Focardii: Characterization of Antifreeze Proteins".
My research interests are highly focused on molecular patterns and processes of evolution on the
molecular basis of Organisms Evolution and on various aspects of Organismal and molecular
biology with the aim of better understand gene, genome and organismal evolution across the
breadth of the Tree of Life and extent of Earth History.

I am interested in the of biologist position because of my deep interest in Evolutionary Biology
Research leads me to look for a job by which to deepen this need, according to my qualifications.
Career and vocational training
My experience also includes working full-time as administrative employee in a big Italian public
utility operator of integrated water services company with an annual net budget of approximately
€. 21,000.00.
I’ve gained work experience covering fifteen permanent full-time positions of Addetto Amministrativo
Sp. National Collective Labour Agreement with Federgasacqua at the Integrated Water Service
manager, covering the following tasks: managing the register of exemptions for sewer and water
treatment fees, issuing opinions exemption quotas and sewerage purification, calculating amounts to
be reimbursed to the total exempt for sewer and water treatment services in the SAP environment,
manual billing and issuing credit notes, tag management, creation PO, RdA and goods receipts, cash
management, document management, update registry permissions to connection to mains drainage
with creating SO for billing of the deposit and the investigating charges customers asking the
connection, logging of outgoing documents activities. Response to customers about complaints and
request information regarding the counts covered the reimbursement of sewage and water treatment
units

My Laboratory experience includes one year training at University of Camerino in molecular
techniques in molecular biology, such as Cell culture, DNA microarray, DNA sequencing,

RT-PCR, Western blotting, Northern blotting, Transformation/Transfection techniques Enzyme-
Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), Methods to investigate protein–protein interactions.
My IT knowledge includes the whole Software/Area of proficient knowledge of Office Windows;
the SAP software and the whole Citrix environment, with an High standard of computer literacy
(Excel, Word, Power Point Access, Outlook and Internet), with high experience in web design,
twitter.

the Master's
