Sam organizes his friends to form a band to play for the king. Each friend is assigned an instrument - Nan plays the bell, Mat and Nat play horns, Max and Nell play drums, and Mit plays the horn very well. At their performance, Kit sings a song about forming a band for the king while the others play. The king and queen enjoy the performance.

3. “Nan, you will ring a bell.
This is the bell for you to ring.”

4. Nan rings the bell.

5. “Mat and Nat, you will play horns.
This horn is for you, Mat.
Nat, you play that horn.”

6. Mat and Nat play the horns.

7. “Max can play this drum.
Nell can play the bigger drum.”

8. Max and Nell play the drums.

9. “Mit you will not play the horn.
This is for you to play.”

10. Mit plays it very well.

11. They form a band.
“Form a row like this. See me on my box. Let’s all
play!”

12. “I did not like that.
The drums need to play fast,
the horns not as fast.”
“All play!”

13. “That was not bad. The drums play well.”
“Sam, let Kit sing.
You will like Kit’s song,” says Max.

14. Kit sings,
“We will form a band for you, my king.
They will play for you, and I will sing.”

15. They form a ring at the statue.
The band plays very well.
The king and queen like the song.
