• White lies are small lies that we say
with good intentions. We usually say
these to avoid offending other
people or to spare their feelings.

• Lying by commission is simply
telling an outright lie. The very
motive of this act is to present
something that is untrue.

• Lying by Omission is telling a lie by
withholding information. It is
telling or providing incomplete
information.

9. Lying to save another
• Lying to save another or to avoid
punishment is somehow similar to a
white lie. The intentions are good
but it still an act of lying or
cheating.

10. Investigating to discover the truth
• Investigating to discover the truth is an
act of finding and searching for truth
by seeing situations or facts from
different perspectives and accounts.

11. Truth
- is that which is in accordance
with fact and reality. It also implies
actuality, accuracy, and honesty.

12. Researching Unknowns
• Researching Unknowns is the act of
studying and finding out initially
concealed truths. It takes courage and
open-mindedness to pursue searching
for untarnished truth. It might be an
idea or a fact that is not conventionally
accepted.

13. We can develop love for truth by
consistently telling the truth. We also
have to be careful to verify our
statements and ensure that they are in
accordance with factual reality. We
should avoid any form of lying and
dishonesty.
