Representation of Female Character in Some Popular Cartoons
Objectives of the study
1. To study the representation of primary female characters in cartoons.
2. To analyze the gender discourse of the narrative of the popular cartoon shows.
Justification of the study
How some popular cartoons affect gender, particularly young girls
-the nine cartoon programming for each year from 2001 to 20119 from the sampling frame of nine programs on the basis of television ratings and disney cartoons.

5. Methodology
O Sampling
-the nine cartoon programming for each year from 2001 to 20119 from the sampling
frame of nine programs on the basis of television ratings and disney cartoons.
Sample size
- The content analysis was conducted on a total sample of 81 (9*9 episodes)
cartoon show episodes .

- Qualitative research, qualitative research seeks to discern the quality rather than
the quantity of its study.

- the present study is entirely based on secondary data collected from literature
review and some cartoon’s videos
