  22,000 mentors. Supply and demand rising.
• A new service for growth potential firms, Growth
  Accelerator - >600 firms
• Specialist Catapult Centres
• ‘City Deals’
• 2 Rounds of Regional Growth Funding, Round 3
  underway
• LEPs and Enterprise Zones established
• Tax incentives for business investment and growth
• Stimulants to business lending – e.g. NLGS now FFL,
  reduced Corporation Tax, SEIS
What difference is this making and
      where are the gaps?
• Economy not growing – Eurozone
• Institutional changes - too early to tell but
  signs promising
• Changes need to bed in and to be driven
  hard to deliver outcomes
• Further changes in view – new .GOV
  digital platform
