• Don’t be colloquial, mate
– “While this might seen a little weird”
• “It’s obvious” and “widely known” that you shouldn’t
say this
• Organizations are in America, Organisations are in
Australia
• Etc is too tacky, such as … is better
• No headings in an essay (reports have headings)
• No dot points (reports have dotpoints)
• Should I have rhetorical questions in my essay?

• Don’t use words you don’t know how to use properly
– “Don’t practice confrontations you don’t discern how
toward habit suitably”
• Every paragraph should link back to the question
• In the first two sentences I should know what the
paragraph is about and how it adds to the argument
• More than one reference per paragraph
• Always link back to theory. This is a theory based
university, if you don’t like it…..
