1. Panagiota Margariti- A succesful alumni
Panagiota Margariti graduated from the class of communication, media and
culture at Panteion University in 2008. After the graduation, she obtained a Master
in Business Administration- Total Quality Management, MBA, at University of
Piraeus. Now, she is working in Randstad as a Sales and Recruitment Consultant
and Staffing CS Specialty, since February. In this job, the time for her is not many
but as soon as she can, she is trying to do things for herself with friends or family.
The five words that she uses in order to describe herself are: persistent,
patient, ambitious, communicative and amusing. Indeed, she has good sense of
humor and I understood that when I asked her who is the cinema hero to which she
compares herself. She told me that the cinema hero is definitely Goofy.
Nevertheless, the category of her life's movie would be drama with adventurous
characteristics and Charlize Theron would absolutely be the heroine. However, in
her real life she admires and she has as prototype her sister, who has the same job
as Panagiota.

2. Panagiota Margariti is now working for Randstad. Before this work, she had
been worked in a lot of companies. The two last years, before Randstad, she was in
Adecco in Thessaloniki, as a Recruitment Officer. The job's conditions there were
satisfactory, but it was the time for her come back in her city, Athens. Panagiota is
very satisfied and happy with her job and career. This is what she wanted to do after
her graduation. She is doing really creative things and therefore she feels satisfied
with her life and her job. Of course, she believes that this job has many risks on
personal and professional level because she has everyday goals which are difficult to
come by and they require a lot of her time, not only in the company but also after, in
the house. These risks many times, lead you to failure. Panagiota believes, that the
fails you have to trade it with optimism and more work.
As for the skills that someone needs in the field of communication, Panagiota
Margariti believes that, not only here but in all jobs, it is necessary for everyone to
be hard working and to love their job. Of course in this field, everyone has to be
communicative, well- organized and he should make plans and set goals for his
progress. She follows her own program almost everyday and she is very
communicative. She wasn't like this before, but the studies in communication and
the work after helped her to improve the skills of communication. With reference to
social media, Panagiota uses them enough. For personal use she prefers Facebook
but as a key in her job she use more the LinkedIn, because its character is more
professional, than the other social media, but not only this one. She used to spend
some personal time in Facebook but she realized that it was not good for her and
she stopped it. In addition, she has an advice for the young people who start right
now their careers. They should be careful with the posts that they upload in their
social media. There isn't a rule for that but they must keep in mind that their
potential employers will check their profiles in social media.

3. Last but not least, when Panagiota Margariti hears the name of AD&PRLab
the first thing that she things is the name of Betty Tsakarestou. She has mainly
positive memories from the lab, both inside and outside. She can not recall a bad
memory. From AD&PRLab she learned many useful things which she used in her
later career, especially from the external partners who transferred the market
conditions to students. Now, she would like a lot to come in the Lab and offer help
and her knowledge to the students.
