5. HOW ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CAN TRANSFORM BUSINESSES
A question originally asked on Quora, Forbes
shares the leading answer by Tony Paikeday,
product marketing director at NVIDIA. After
providing several examples of businesses
across industries who are already using AI, he
shares the quickest method to adopting AI:
âThe fastest way to accelerate AI for
business is leveraging powerful and
energy-efficient GPUs. The huge
computing power they provide has
propelled us into the midst of an AI
revolution, driven forward by new
algorithms, and access to vast troves of
data.â

8. NVIDIA TEACHES THE WORLD ABOUT DEEP LEARNING IN FINANCE
THROUGH WORKSHOPS
NVIDIA is offering the first courses on applying deep
learning to the finance vertical.
One of the first deep learning lab courses focuses
specifically on the domain of capital markets trading
will be taking place on 5 December at Newsweek's AI
and Data Science in Capital Markets event in New
York (places are limited).
Andy Steinbach, head of AI in financial services and
senior director at Nvidia, explained:
âThere's not a lot of academic research that
shows how to take these neural network
techniques and adapt them to finance. It

9. WHAT AI CAN ACCOMPLISH RIGHT NOW â AND THE SILICON POWERING IT ALL
Because artificial intelligence has long been
misunderstood, in its November issue,
Popular Mechanics provides a guide to what
A.I. is, what it isn't, who's responsibleâand
how businesses can get started. In its guide,
it names NVIDIA as âthe silicon powering it
allâ:
âNow, Google and Apple are building
their own GPUs, but Nvidia is far
ahead. Pick almost anywhere that's
doing important work with A.I.â
Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla.
Nvidia is the hardware running it.â
