 Hero group was established by the four Munjal brothers. In 1944, the
Munjal family started a small business of bicycle spare parts in Amritsar
and started entire cycle manufacturing plant in Ludhiana in 1956.
 Hero Cycles has now improved its market share to 43 % amongst the
organized sector bicycle manufacturers.
 Every 9 second 1 bicycle is manufactured.
 Over 140million cycles sold.
 Globally in 89 countries worlds largest cycle manufacturer.
 Competitors are Avon cycles , Atlas cycles , TI cycles.
 Products : City bikes , kids zone , girls zone , mountain bikes ,
roadsters.
