4. WHAT IS MITRAL REGURGITATION?
The mitral regurgitation is the passage of
blood during the ventricular systole from
the left ventricle to the left auricle due to
the incomplete closing of the valvular
edges.

5. THE CAUSE OF MITRAL REGURGITATION
Mitral regurgitation is caused or by a condition
that weakens the cardiac muscle. The more

6. WHAT IS MITRACLIP SYSTEM?
The [mitraclip] system is the first cure
device in commerce to offer a non surgical
alternative reparation of the mitral valve for
the patients that suffer of mitral
regurgitation .

FOUND IN MITRAL INSUFFICIENSY ARE

8. RESULTS-I
The encouraging results in the use of the
MitraClip System are confirmed by two
years without mitral stenosis. These results
consolidate the numerous indications that
show that the therapy through MitraClip can
represent a good alternative for selected
patients.

9. RESULTS-II
The population of the study for the present
analysis included 107 patients affected by
moderate or severe regrugitation recruited in
the EVEREST register phase - I (N=55) or non
Randomized subjecks in the EVEREST
motorcycle trial - II (N=52).
