Introduction to Programming <ul><li>Students work with algorithms, data strings, and basic coding in Python to explore basic programming skills and concepts. </li></ul><ul><li>Culminating Project: Designing and programming a complex game from scratch </li></ul>

Database Design <ul><li>Students explore the database development cycle and the different types of database models. Students learn Access . </li></ul><ul><li>Culminating Project: Modeling, designing, and implementing a relational database for a real client </li></ul>

The courses are just a part of Curriculum & Academics <ul><li>NAF Student Certification </li></ul><ul><li>We are teaming with West Ed to develop third-party validated certification in AOF, AOHT, and AOIT </li></ul><ul><li>Certificate will require students to complete four NAF courses and an internship </li></ul><ul><li>The assessment system underlying certification will include: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>> End-of-course exams </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>> Course culminating project evaluations </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>> Internship evaluation </li></ul></ul>
