The document discusses the causes and impacts of climate change. It identifies three main causes: natural factors like volcanic eruptions and tectonic plate movements; biotic factors such as methane from animal waste; and human factors including excessive burning of fossil fuels releasing greenhouse gases. As a result of increased greenhouse gases, the Earth is steadily warming which melts polar ice and depletes the ozone layer. This leads to problems like more floods, storms, sea level rise, health issues from increased UV radiation, species extinction, droughts and food shortages. Solutions proposed include reducing fossil fuel use, encouraging clean energy, prohibiting deforestation, and reforestation efforts.

Climate change by Musa Manneh
1. My name is Musa Manneh, I am Gambian currently
studying medicine in Pamukkale University, Turkey.
2. In the past the planet earth is known to be a planet
with beautified landscapes and different species of
organisms which interact with each other in the
natural ecosystem but now we are loosing our
natural home and most of the animals are dying or
undergoing extinction due to different forces that
are taking place in it which it cannot completely
withstand.
Today the world is subjected to so many problems
like storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, poor
yield of agricultural produce, increase of global
temperature, lots of forest fires, floods and droughts.
The question is ,what is leading to all these problems?

7. The natural factors causing the climate
change are:
The variation of the amount of sunlight
reaching and leaving the earth
The frequent volcanic eruptions
the motion of tectonic plates restructures
the topography and contribute to
climate change.
8. The biotic factor causing climate change
comes from the excrete of the living
animals whose excrete has methane and
nitrous oxide which are substance
suppoting climate change and also the
relese of carbon from dead plants which
later combines with free molecules of
oxygen in the atmosphere forming the
carbon dioxide which is harmful in excess
quantity.
9. The human factors causing climate change is
what is termed as global warming which is the
release of the harmful greenhouse gases in to
the atmosphere to an excess amount which
the earth cannot withstand and causing
threat to all lives on earth.
The gases are mainly carbon dioxide. Carbon
dioxide is produce as a result of our burning
action of fossils (coal, oils and natural gas)
usually in order to produce energy
10.
11. The earth that we live in is steadily
undergoing warming process as a result
of the gases that are we are emitting
everyday for the production of energy.
These gases are produce from the
burning of our fossils.
This gas especially the carbon dioxide
increases the temperature of the earth
and is depleting the ozone layer.
12. The ozone layer is a region(shield) of
Earth's stratosphere that absorbs most of
the Sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation. This
layer prevents the excess ultraviolet rays
of the sun from reaching the earth due
to its harmful effects it has on living
organisms.
13. There will be development of skin cancer
There will be a development of sunburns
There will be early aging of the skin
Problems of genetic changes
There is likelihood of becoming blind
There will be problem of the melanin
Small organisms may not withstand it
14. Due to the constant melting of the polar ice and
the ice bergs, there will be more floods, storms
and more natural disasters together will health
and economic problems. Over flooded areas
will be force to migrate and some organisms
like the polar bears will loose their habitat, they
may even undergo extinction .The excess
carbon dioxide and other gases will continue
warming the earth and depleting the ozone
layer creating more havoc on living organism.
The extreme temperature of the sun will cause
drought and result to poor yield which will bring
up hunger and starvation. There will be more
pollution of our hydrosphere as more carbon
dioxide reacts will the water.
15. It solution starts with the control of the fossils that we
are burning excessively in the name of energy
production, countries producing more of the carbon
dioxide like America and China should come to
agreement with the whole world and cut down the
amount of carbon dioxide they are releasing in to the
atmosphere, sources of clean energy should be
encourage, the burning of forest should be
prohibited by governments, already deforested
areas should be reforested by tree planting exercise,
burning of domestic materials supporting the release
of carbon dioxide like plastics should be prevented,
fuels and gases used during cooking should be
minimize.
