All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)
AIIMS 2018 examination is a national level examination, which is regulated by 
the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. AIIMS MBBS exam will be 
considered for providing admission to students in the MBBS programme offered by 
AIIMS,  New  Delhi,  Bhopal,  Jodhpur,  Rishikesh,  Bhubnaeswar,  Patna  and  Raipur. 
AIIMS  exam  will  be  organized  to  offer  admission  in  700  MBBS  seats  offered  by 
AIIMS institutions. This exam will be conducted through CBT (computer based test)

JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research) is one 
of  the  premier  institutions  in  the  field  of  medical  education  in  India.  It 
organizes JIPMER MBBS entrance exam for admission into MBBS course in 200 seats. 
These courses are provided by the JIPMER, Puducherry &JIPMER, Karaikal.

 JEE Main 2018 is the popular engineering entrance exam in India. 
 It will be conducted by CBSE for admission to B.E./B.Tech & B.Arch courses.
 No weightage will be given to 12th class marks for calculating All India Rank (AIR) in 
JEE Main.
 In order to qualify for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, candidates must have at
least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST) in higher secondary examination

aptitude test (Part-2) and 2 questions in drawing comprising of total 390 marks.
 Type of Questions: The Mathematics and Aptitude test section will contain objective type 
questions. Drawing test will be subjective.

 Marking Scheme: Candidates will be provided with +4 marks for each correct answer.

 Exam Mode: The IIT JEE Advanced exam will be conducted through online (Computer Based) 
or offline (Pen Paper Based) mode.
 Number of Papers: The examination consists of 2 papers. It is mandatory for the candidates to 
attempt both the papers.
 Number of Sections: There  are  3  separate  sections  in  both  the  papers,  namely  Physics, 
Chemistry and Mathematics.
 Question Paper Type: The question papers will contain objective type that includes MCQ as 
well as numerical answer type questions.
 Exam Timings: Total 3 hours will be provided to each paper. Timings for papaer-1 will be 10:00 
a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and for paper-2, the timings will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
 Language: The  candidates  can  avail  the  question  papers  in  both  English  and  Hindi  medium 
(mention the question paper medium at the time of registration).
