Project Management
Project management interface to clients (internal & external)
Ensuring smooth workflow from Business initiation to full completion of project or event ( program
/Special events & or Other Contracts).
Organising:
- Coordinates internal and external operational demands (rights-holders, organizers, host broadcasters,
clients,vendors) for all sold contracts.
Services:
- Ensures that the deliverables meet EBU quality standards and customer expectations.
- In close partnership with the Sales & Marketing team, maintains the customer relation
- Organizes together with the Network team implementation of services
Event Preparation
- Implements the Broadcast solution according to the available budget and guidelines
- Ensures all dispatching of all relevant information to the customers and the EBU team
- Coordinates all customers request within the team for implementation
- Coordinate & collaborate with Resources team to ensure smooth fulfilment of projects.
- Coordinates all logistical support.
Event Coordination
- Coordination during the event time, on-site, if judged its needed
- Manages specific requirements request and needs of different stakeholders and broadcasters.
Event Coordination - Information
- Compiles and distribute project relevant information in a structured way
Customer Relations
- Maintain operational contact with customers to ensure high level services
- Ensures constant flow of relevant information with Geneva Project Manager/s
Closing
- Ensure all project data is tracked and recorded properly for present and future reference
Procurement
1. Support the Managing Director in the company’s direction on Supplier management
2. Management and building of supplier relations.
3. Collect, track and analyse data
4. Prospects partnerships with relevant organizations
5. Identifies new trends/potential new suppliers.
6. follows up with identified potential partners accordingly
7. Prepares feasibility studies, reports and presents opportunities to Management team.
8. Carries out financial reviews of suppliers' activities and informs appropriately the Management;
notably monitors the consumption of products and services procured externally.
2. Dynamic Global presales & Solutioning
1. Directly contributes
2. Support sales & Marketing with this process.
3. Works deals assigned to the sales team , prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team
productivity and profit.
4. In partnership with all related project managers ensures timely and precise response to generated
leads.
5. Manage costs accuracy and seamless flow of processes involving lead generation to execution(Project
life cycle)
6. Produce solid Lead (LG) and technical sales documentation (in cooperation with the various
departments).
7. Align solution design, costs, client needs, redundancy and availability of the solutions proposed
8. Describe precisely the level of redundancy and monitoring of the proposed solutions.
9. Provide the Business Managers with a clear, timely, response to the final documents submitted by
them.
10. Support with Post-Sales activities when required
11. Supports in creating offers and drafting contracts for broadcast services in coordination with Sales,
Marketing and EBU’s Legal Department.
Pre-sales technical support
1. Good understanding of the EBU global network.
2. Acts as a coordination technical point for all the pre-sales opportunities, working with the different
teams while providing technical documentation related to relevant business opportunities as required
through close cooperation with Engineers.
3. Works closely with Sports & Business departments to define, accurately, client requirements.
4. Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses
customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the
customer and Eurovision, coordinating the production of written technical solutions and schematic
diagrams with Available Engineers.
5. Monitors proposed solutions and develops best practices and standard approaches with Network
Solutions team.
6. Challenges others in the Pre Sales group or team to identify creative approaches or solutions.
7. Advise, participate, Support in the test and development of network solutions for events, preparing
solution pilots and demos for customers in collaboration with each relevant team.
Information & Other Tasks
1. Monitor News and Current affairs development in Asia to assist Geneva Special Event Operations to find
potential business opportunities.
2. Provide Managing Director with requisite project information.
3. Forecast and maintains budgets associated with the projects and events assigned.
4. Assists in creating a high spirited and cooperative working environment amongst the fellow project
team as well as the Resources & Operations Team.
5. Collaborates on the technical Eurovision network strategy development( For Asia).
6. Advise on customer’s view (fiber, satellite) about network design, enhancement and extension to the
MNS specialists
