4. ABOUT US
Diamond Denim is one of the branches of the Sapphire Group; a conglomerate with a turnover of USD 900 million. The
first Sapphire spinning mill was established in the 1970’s and in the span of fifty years, the group has expanded into a
technologically advanced, quality oriented enterprise, with fully integrated textile mills, power producers and a
state-of-the-art dairy farm.

5. PAKISTAN AT A GLANCE
In the season of 2021-2022 produced 5.11 million bales of cotton and it is the fifth largest cotton producer in the world.
Cotton grown in Pakistan exports more than 800 million meters per annum, making Pakistan the second largest exporter of
denim fabrics globally.
Given the amount of fabric manufactured in the country, Pakistan is growing fast in the apparel manufacturing in order to be
more sustainable and shorten lead times.
6. LEEDS FACTORY
The Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) is a green building certification program that recognizes the
best in class, promotes better & beautiful buildings which also complements the environment whilst enhancing a better,
brighter and healthier working environment for all staff.
Diamond Denim will be one of the only denim manufacturers in Pakistan to achieve a LEED Platinum certification.
Capacity: 350 K pc monthly in phase 1.
Scalable: Up to 1 Million pc monthly.
Product: Denim & Non-Denim Bottoms.
7. SPINNING
Diamond Denim's new spinning facility enables us to achieve vertical integra
tion from yarn to garments. Our machinery is from Trützschler, Marzoli,
Toyota and Savio. We also produce many cotton blends which include: hemp,
linen, Tencel, PCW & recycled polyester.
We are able to produce 90% of the yarns we consume for denim fabrics in ring
slub, core spun and Dual FX yarns.
8. ROPE DYEING
Our Morrison rope dyeing machine and pre-reduced
liquid indigo allow us to dye the deepest and brightest
shades in a clean and sustainable environment.
We use the highest quality dyestuff from DyStar and
Archroma.
Our capacity is around 20 million meters annually.
9. WEAVING
At Diamond Denim we use Air Jet and Rapier looms from Tsudakoma and
Picanol to ensure optimal performance and greater flexibility. Wider looms
enable us to provide our customers with higher width in stretch fabrics
allowing them to optimize their fabric consumptions. Our weaving produc-
tion capacity is 65 million meters annually.
We also have the capability to produce corduroy, denim, jacquards and flats.
10. DENIM FINISHING
The finishing department includes Benninger
mercerization and washing, Monforts stenter
and Pentek pre-shrinking to guarantee the
best performances on our fabrics.
Our pigment and sulphur coating machines,
as well as our printing machines allow for
enhanced denim treatments.
11. FLAT FINISHING
With machinery from Benninger, Monforts
and Pentek, Diamond Denim is fully equipped
to produce non-denim fabrics in PFGD,
reactive dyeing and pigment coating.

12. WASHING

Our washing team is made up of international consultants and
local experts who are continually creating new trend led washes
with sustainability in mind.
With Tonello E-flow washing machines and Jeanologia lasers,
Diamond Denim laundry can wash over 450,000 garments per
month in the most sustainable manner.
13. DIGITAL PRINTING
With machinery from Reggiani we are able to
offer high resolution DPI pigment printing on
denim, corduroy, flats even with high
stretches.
Capacity: 150 K meters per month
14. CORDUROY
As well as producing quality denim, Diamond Denim can produce weft
corduroy from 2 to 24 wales/inch and velvets. Weight ranging from 7 oz to
14 oz (240 to 440 g/m2
)
We are also able to offer a wide range of corduroy in many blends such as
hemp, linen, modal, Tencel, PES and PA. With finishing ranging from PFGD,
reactive or pigment dyed, printed with digital or screen and pigment coating
on rigid, comfort, stretch and super-stretch. Finishing ranging from PFGD,

Capacity: 300 K meters per month
15. GARMENT MAKING
Diamond Denim’s garment making facility is fully equipped with the most advanced machinery. We currently produce
jeans, chino, skirts and fashion garments. Our goal is to make aesthetically pleasing garments with sustainable washes.
Our capacity is currently at 500,000 pieces per month.

consultants and local experts.
The team are at the forefront of new fabric innovations, design
development with strong links with industry experts in chemicals,
machinery and fibres.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
18. SUSTAINABILITY
Diamond Denim has been working on sustainable fibers and chemi-
cals since the beginning. Developing from fabrics with Zero Cotton
to Aniline Free indigo, we thoroughly study each aspect of the
production process to make it more sustainable.

19. Diamond Denim has an ETP to treat 100% of our water. Our objective is to ensure that we only send clean water back to the
environment. Recycling could be upto 50%.
