as the PS4 doesn’t. The Wii U can be connected to the internet via wireless connection; the
console features four USB 2.0 connectors in total, two at the front and two at the back that
support the Wii LAN adapters.
!
The Wii U compared to the PS4 it has a much smaller amount of downloadable content where
as the PS4 offers a huge range of downloadable confront which is one of the PS4’s main selling
point making it a more popular console. The target audience is much different for the PS4
compared to the Wii U due to the different games released on each platform and also the
functionality of the controls used for each console. PS4 is aimed at more experiences gamers at
a slightly older age range; compared to the Wii U which is more child and family friendly
elements such as the new game pad, games and accessories.
!
Overall, the Xbox One and the PS4 offer the highest specs for the more advanced and serious
gamer such as Blu Ray disc drives, 8GB of ram, 500GB hard drive, play as you download
features and ect. The Wii U is massively out out done by these two consoles but the Wii U works
and has everything in it to satisfy the younger gamer and families so having a Wii U with a
500GB hard drive and 8GB of ram would just bring up the cost of the console due to having
almost useless features.
