2. The Internet of Things, also called The Internet of
Objects, refers to a wireless network between
Objects.
By putting intelligence into everyday objects, they
are turned into smart objects able not only to
collect information from the environment and
interact/control the physical world, but also to be
interconnected, to each other, through Internet to
exchange data and information.
4. Business Solutions has to be faster and excel in every step
Consider as an example,
Mr. X’s vitals are not good and he should be reach to the nearest hospital with
less traffic and with emergency room ready for him.
Now, by our new Technology, i.e., a band alike sensor transmitter(or
sensometer) strapped in Mr. X's hand, will technologically sense the heart
attack and prompted to a nearest hospital and then data being sent to his
personal doctor and will arrange a shortest and with less traffic route to that
hospital, side by side the cloud will send Mr. X's health reports to respective
doctors so that they could be ready with the immediate givable treatment and
the action required to save his life. And also, 5 emergency contacts will be
aware and the shortest route for the hospital will be shown to them and also the
GPS in the patient's band will let the contacts know the exact position of the
patient.
World sensor networks
Home automation and domestics
Tracking and shipping of goods i.e. Logistics
Daily life(traffic monitoring, shopping, etc.)
Resource and Power control
5. The Areas, I am Interested in are:
• World Sensor Networks
• Resource and Power Control
• Production
• Retailing
The ideas is to:
o Provide Technological Standardization in the fragmented
areas.
o Enhance safety.
o Managing and fostering rapid innovation
The areas which I want to work on during the
internship:
Sensors and Smart phones
Resource and Power Control
