Shall monitor safety system for flight and seaport at matak base
Develop SMS Airport for Matak Base
Shall conduct daily visits of construction sites and shall advise / assist supervisors to
maintain good housekeeping, safety practices and emergency services.
Shall regularly inspect emergency services and give report to concerned department for
compliance of deficiency and for provision of trained and qualified personnel to maintain the
emergency services.
Shall monitor & advice in the safety toolbox meeting at site with supervisors, work leaders
and workers.
Shall train working crew for proper use of PPE.
Shall give report of daily safety activity to section in charge / HSE Coordinator (site) for any
shortcoming observed during daily inspection.
Shall assist HSE coordinator/ investigation group for incident investigation.
Shall Coordinates subcontractor safety inspection / walkabout Sessions.
Shall Co-ordinates with Administration department for implementation of firefighting system
and accident handling system.
Shall monitor and inform all construction crew including subcontractors regarding project
safety requirements and ascertain that it is complied with.
Review risk assessment and emergency plan made by the execution team.
Shall maintain confidentiality of all injury reports.
Provide technical advice and assistance to supervisors to prevent a recurrence.
Shall ensure that all work permits are applied/ renewed on time.
Shall check and ensure that all work permit (main work permit and complimentary permits),
enclosure such as list of equipment, approved Procedures, risk assessment, schematic
layout of the working area are attached and duly filled before submission of work permit.
Shall check validity of work permit and apply for extension / new fresh permit as and when
required in consultation with planning department.
Shall retain one copy of work permit and record it and shall give one copy to planning
department for records.
Shall monitor that a copy of the work permit(s) is displayed at the worksite at all times.
Shall maintain work permit register and reflect the status of work permit regularly in work
permit register.
Shall inform reflected precautions in work permit to planning, execution, maintenance and
work supervisors for compliance before handing over the work permit to supervisor.
Shall monitor that supervisor in charge of the overall work activity is well aware of all the
tasks associated with the particular jobs.
Shall stop the work if operational condition has been changed and creating hazardous
situation or the persons executing the work are not observing the precautions.
Shall regularly close out the work permit after a specified period or after completion of work.
