 Coordinates the research and writing of a book on both English and Spanish on migration
and development trends in nine countries in the Americas, including, Mexico, Belize,
Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Dominican
Republic.
 Provides scientific and methodological support to the team participating in the writing of
the book integrated by country economist, and experts from the Bank.
 Participates in the writing of at least two book chapters.
 Responsible for the designing of research with the support of the team, and interviewing
of relevant stakeholders to collect insighton migration and development trends in Mexico,
Central America and the Caribbean.
 Responsible for the final revision of the book.
 Helped in the planning,elaboration, discussion and identification of a regional strategy to
address the challenges and opportunities generated by the developmental needs of
sending regions in Central America and Mexico, to create an alternative to international
migration.
 Supported the Bank in the elaboration of an international forum to address emigration
from the Northern Triangle, including that of unaccompanied minors. The Forum took
place on November 18th, 20014, and was the launching platform of the Alliance for
Prosperity.
 Lead a research project focused on diagnosing the needs of unaccompanied minors from
Mexico and the Northern Triangle (El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala) and
supporting their social, educational, and economic inclusion in their countries of
origin, transit or destination.
 Lead research project analyzing Guatemala’s consular service in the U.S. in the
Washington D.C. area to improve the services provided to the Guatemalan
population. The results were presented to all the Guatemalan consuls in the U.S.
leading to important changes in the consular operations and activities.
 Wrote Demographic analysis of the Guatemalan population in collaboration with
consultant.

 Evaluated IRI’s Central America violence prevention programs providing lessons and
methodology recommendations, including for the Project Management Performance
Framework and Logic Model.

return experiences and to identify their reintegration prospects in Mexico’s labor
market and society.
 Coordinated an evaluation of an immigrant integration initiative designed by the
organization in collaboration with Notre Dame University, which led to
improvements in the program.
 Represented the organization as speaker in a variety of conferences and workshops
on immigrant integration, and U.S-Mexico Central American relations.
 Participated in board meetings, which included important members of the Mexican
and American business community, the former Texas Secretary of State and the
Archbishop of Los Angeles.

The Forum took place on November 18th, 20014, and was the launching platform of the Alliance for Prosperity.  Lead a research project focused on diagnosing the needs of unaccompanied minors from Mexico and the Northern Triangle (El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala) and supporting their social, educational, and economic inclusion in their countries of origin, transit or destination.  Lead research project analyzing Guatemala’s consular service in the U.S. in the Washington D.C. area to improve the services provided to the Guatemalan population. The results were presented to all the Guatemalan consuls in the U.S. leading to important changes in the consular operations and activities.  Wrote Demographic analysis of the Guatemalan population in collaboration with consultant.
