More money towards PH spending advances medical technology and the services provided to individuals.
PH spending is shown to increase effectiveness of programs and services of PH. More preventive programs in neighborhoods that need them.
Increased testing from PH spending leads to better access to those who wouldn’t normally have access. Ie: mobile vans in poor neighborhoods.
More money from PH gives more money for research that leads to better advances in technology, treatment and diagnosis.
More money from PH helps increase skilled workers suited for new jobs.
Money from PH increases preventative programs that helps educate communities about their own health.
Prevention initiatives are implement with PH spending.
PH spending which increases technology will increase better, quicker and more efficient diagnosis and treatment capabilities.
Increased Public Health Spending resuts in higher taxes on the citizens. The cost of healthcare is high and the government needs to pay for it.
Cutbacks in programs and services are a result of PH spending and will continue as PH needs continue to increase.
Increased co-pays, deductibles and medical plan cost.
Although there is debate as to whether PH spending is hurtful to the economy, the cost of PH does have an economic cost to it. However, some carry the belief the cost outweighs the benefit in the long run.
Employers often have to limit the “attractiveness” of benefit packages and/ot hire part-timers to lower there healthcare costs.
