2. What was the first couch like?
We think the first couch was probably wooden and had no
back to it.

3. How did it change?
People began to make them with cushions to make them
softer and gentle. They can also recline.

4. How can it still be improved?
o Adding a swinging table on the side, to bring it to your
convenience.
o Add more leg room.
o A foot rest in the middle, not just on the ends.
o A built in lamp in the middle for light.
