Drilling
WELL DRILLING
GWDC owns a complete fleet of rigs that comply with
international standards. These rigs fall into two categories:
electric-driven and mechanical-driven rigs, and we have a
rated drilling capacity to a depth of 9000m.
We are capable of drilling in various surface &
underground conditions.
Technical Services
GW-LWD (Broadband Wave Resistivity) has been
exclusively developed and is owned by GWDC:
• High-power generator and high-performance positive
pulse system
• Adaptive filtering, accurate decoding in noisy
conditions
• Four transmitters and two receivers spacing, two
transmitting frequencies (2MHz and 500KHz)
• Eight quantitative resistivity curves of different
investigated depth
Drilling Conditions
• Onshore
• Tidal and shallow water regions
• Desert, Marshland, or Rain forests
• Gyp and salt layers
• High or Low pressure strata or Highly acidic gas strata
• Complicated strata with severe mud loss and caving
Technologies & Services
GWDC is committed to providing quality services and developing state of the art technologies. We currently operate three
R&D institutes in China and one technical-support center in the US. We are actively involved in researching new drilling
technologies, logging technologies, and oilfield development technologies.
Drilling
GWDC owns a complete fleet of rigs that comply with international standards.

Logging
GWDC developed and manufactures the Logging Express Acquisition Platform.
The Logging Express Acquisition Platform (LEAP800) has been successfully
used overseas since 2002. GWDC provides Looging Data, Wireline Logging and
Perforation Services, Well Testing and Completion Services and Mud logging
and Auxiliary Services.
Energy development
GWDC is committed to developing energy production throughout the world.
Taking reservoir geological research as the entry point, we expand services
globally for general contracting of well stimulations, oil reservoir development
and adjustment plan preparations, and other energy development needs.

DRILLING FLUID
Inthecourseof50yearsofcontinuinggrowth,valuableexperiencehasbeen
gained through drilling practice in drilling fluid technical services. GWDC
can provide our clients with super fluids, including field engineering design
and service of drilling fluid, prevention of oil and gas formation damage,
rig-site waste water treatment and environmental protection, technical

WORKOVER
Our workovers, including drilling
old wells deeper and side-tracking,
are aimed at getting the most from
old wells through the least drilling
footage, in order to implement or
maintain a low-cost development of
an old oilfield.
CORING
One way to get more detailed samples of a formation is by coring. GWDC currently uses two different techniques, which include
Whole-core Coring and Sidewall Coring. GWDC’s coring experience provides geologist with clean and clear core samples, which
allows them to make informed decisions about the wells they are drilling.
