We have cultural capital as the next generation of industry leaders.
We can use our capital and talent pool to enact change.
So far, we’ve already dedicated much of our labor and time to multiple
start-up meetings; we have organized a team of committed MAIP
fellows into disciplines according to our strengths; we’ve compiled a
list of grassroots organizations that we can support; we’re in the
process of refining our visual identity and planning our channels of
communication to make sure our contact with the public is consistent
and intentional; and finally, we’ve stood up and shown our presence at
the End Family Separation NYC Rally.

a movement,
not a moment:
We are committed to ensuring that this experiment becomes an
exemplar for future generations of MAIP fellows to follow.
This experiment will go beyond the summer of 2018. Many of us will
continue working on this as our passion project.
