service then automatically checks with Visa, MasterCard, and
Discover and applies account changes seamlessly.

Vantiv Fraud Toolkit
Offering three levels of functionality — Basic, Advanced Best Practices, and
Advanced Custom — the Vantiv Fraud Toolkit allows organizations to select the
precise level of service that best matches their specific fraud requirements.
• Basic includes Vantiv’s seven essential card-based fraud filters —
address verification service, card velocity check, international issuance,
prepaid, prior chargeback, prior fraud alert, and card security code —
along with a configurable rules engine to identify and screen payment
card misuse involving atypical purchase behavior.
• Advanced Best Practices builds on the capabilities of Basic and adds
sophisticated functionality — including device fingerprinting, IP
geolocation, and fraud scoring — along with best practice rules
configurations developed for specific industries. These rules are based
on real payment and fraud history across Vantiv’s eCommerce
customer base. Vantiv constantly reviews and adjusts these rule sets in
an effort to stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Advanced Custom gives users the tools, resources, and guidance to
counter their particular exposure to fraud attacks. Advanced Custom
includes the features of Advanced Best Practices, as well as the
services of a dedicated Vantiv fraud consultant who monitors trends,
identifies vulnerabilities, and works with customers to refine their rules,
minimize fraud, and maximize good revenue.
Also included at this level is a rules optimization exercise coordinated
by the assigned fraud consultant in conjunction with Vantiv’s partner
ThreatMetrix, a global leader in cybercrime prevention.

Vantiv eProtect
Vantiv eProtect is a comprehensive eCommerce data security solution
that provides online businesses with end-to-end data protection by
removing sensitive cardholder data from their checkout pages — and
throughout their systems, storage, and use.
In alignment with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
(PCI DSS) Version 3.1, eProtect utilizes an iFrame approach that is
fully-hosted in Vantiv’s secure environment, transferring the risk of
capturing and storing cardholder data from businesses to Vantiv.
Vantiv Fraud Chargeback Prevention Service (FCPS)
Daily compilation of issuer-confirmed fraudulent transactions that allows
you to refund legitimate cardholders and helps prevent transactions from
becoming risky and costly chargebacks.
