My early career in accountancy has by and large been dominated by Audit work and compliance work.As a firm we have achieved the quality assurance award from ACCA. Where there is a large demand on my time in recent years is in management and consultancy work.The grey hairs do account for a lot of experience in many different sectors .This experience alone in helping people establish a business and helping guide them through the growth cycle of a business.I enjoy this much more than the mundane regulatory work.I much prefer to be part of making things happen and part of helping people to be the best at what thy do and indeed plotting a strategy for success than accounting for results.we hav...
