for the voice/data networks, and network hardware in order to minimize the duration of network service
interruption for multi-building United Nations Headquarters campus (6) and swing-spaces (13) totaling over

• Design and implementation of challenging telecommunication pathways, redesigns, spaces and cable plant
projects at United Nations Headquarters complex and multiple swing-spaces
• Layout and design of telecommunications systems, as well as voice, data, structured cabling (horizontal and
vertical), security access control, intrusion detection, and other low-voltage systems
• Reviewing and interpreting work orders, wiring lists, wiring diagrams and equipment drawings and following
standard practices in the performance of job duties
• Coordinating system scope, design layout and drawings with client and other disciplines
• Performing site surveys for documentation and cost estimating of existing system and building conditions
• Overseeing project from inception through final transition working with senior management, client and
subcontractors ensuring that schedules and resources remain in check
• Responsible for gathering project requirements from multiple projects and managing the efforts under a program
structure, which includes oversight of multiple projects.
• Determining staffing requirements and forming project teams and responsible for their technical and functional
development, performance, and/or termination during the project or projects.
• Liaison with data connectivity support to receive patching schedules and requests and responsible for fulfilling
patching (installation and testing) and MAC requests
• Installing racks, shelving, power strips, rails, cable management within data center and labs
• Installing T1, BRI, PRI & ISDN circuits while supporting circuit extensions for Verizon/at&t & Motorola
• Providing and maintaining connectivity to the Secretary General's residence and office for UN Security
• Technical liaison for high-profile visitors to the United Nations; e.g. White House, Secret Service, US State Dept.,
FBI, NYPD, NYFD, foreign diplomats and leaders and Google & Facebook social media events.
• Consistently working with complex or high visibility projects
• Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with project /program sponsors and vendors
• Collaborating with other project teams to coordinate interdependencies and issue resolution
• Managing preparations for and maintaining the 65th through the 70th General Assembly meetings
 Troubleshooting vendor circuits for inter-building all-call system / staff notification system
