institution. I have a unique mix of work experience in enrollment, student services, marketing, and
graphic communications in higher education qualifying me as an ideal candidate.
Currently I am the Director of Career Services at Centenary College in Hackettstown New Jersey. I took
over a department that did not have a director for over a year and rebranded Career Services on campus.
We established a new technology focused Career Center with the aim of modernizing the Career Services
process preparing our students and alumni to be as competitive as possible in this neutral economy. The
following are some of my recent accomplishments:
· Reestablished employer connections by hosting three on-campus Career Fairs for the 2011-2012
academic year with over 85 employers.
· Reached out to alumni providing Career Development services and workshops on site and online
via webinars covering networking advice, online job-hunting, and LinkedIn Profiles.
· Conducted placement surveys for the classes of 2005-2010 obtaining recent occupation data.
· Partnered with regional groups and associations increasing visibility among employers as well as
a 130% increase in job postings on Centenary website.
I believe my educational background, career center management, as well as my work in educating and
advising students have prepared me well for this position. The opportunity to work with your college
