5. The Finnish Fair Corporation was founded in 1919
The first fair was held in summer 1920 in a field next to St
John's Church. At the opening, Jean Sibelius was the conductor.
The 120,000 visitors outnumbered the population of Helsinki.

• We recycle waste effectively. The share of mixed waste is
less than 1%.

public transport operators HSL and VR.
