Objective
To be a motivated professional in a technical field, producing exemplary results while keeping an elevated sense
of team effort, pride and quality in my work in order to uphold the integrity of the company I represent.
Experience
Product Support Generalist, McMaster-Carr Supply Company January 2014 – Present
 Provide product support and special quotations relevant to over 510,000 products for industrial
maintenance and repair operations while following stringent protocol guidelines for service.
 Work to expand my industrial product knowledge in several technical areas such as power
transmission, electrical components and fasteners, as well as standards including State of California
regulations.
 Cultivate my daily communications with outside vendors to correctly place purchase orders and
obtain accurate technical information.
 Improve my personal efficiency by adhering to workload quality and quantity goals, which garnered
several notes of commendation upon review of my work.
OEM Inside Sales Engineer, Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd. January 2007 – October 2013
 Worked my way up from an entry-level position to OEM technical inside sales, and was promoted
from sales assistantto engineering assistantwithin sales.
 Directly handled several multi-million dollar clients needing industrial and commercial fan
equipment, overseeing projects from concept and quotation to ordering, delivery and beyond.
 Maintained solid customer relationships while building a cohesive team within my office – working
with engineers, drafters, manufacturing, shipping, customer service, and accounting to make sure the
entire process runs smoothly and that the desired product is completely feasible.
 Generated & maintained reports/timelines/databases, handled account details, and ensured overall
customer satisfaction with both the product and our business process. Reported this information in
weekly meetings involving managers, VPs, and owners of the company.
 Read CAD and line drawings, bills of material, and detailed customer engineering specs to ensure
accuracy of the product being manufactured for the customer.
 Stepped into my superior’s role when she was out of the office as part of my team lead
responsibilities.
 Had the pleasure of adapting quickly to vast product knowledge in a field that at first I knew little
about, and worked closely with established global clients, which expanded my international business
insight.
 Earned a good knowledge of technical components including fans, motors, bearings, fasteners,
drives, switches, bases, framing, metals, and both HVAC and Process Engineering applications.
Assistant Manager, Savvi Formalwear November 2006 – December 2006
 Managed 2-3 employees daily, setting and reviewing their sales goals and training them on new
product, fit and formalwear standards, store procedures, and key selling points of choosing our shop
over competitors.
 In addition to bookkeeping, opening and closing the store and driving sales, I learned procedures of
working in a rented space (i.e. partnering with the mall business office regarding hours, regulations,
store front policies).
 Ensured that the menswear part of the wedding day was a truly one-of-a-kind, worry-free
experience; had to be quick on my feet when problems arose which sometimes for management
meant arriving at the wedding locale, sewing needles or tuxedo in hand.
Sales Associate, Mother’s Work, Inc. November 2003 – October 2006
 Helped mothers-to-be with their wardrobe, educating them on fit, style and options during their
pregnancy; my customer service skills led me to be 176% to sales goal for my first year on the job.
 Took on several tasks necessary to become a future part of the management team including setting
sales goals, training, bookkeeping, floor set design and implementation, and disciplinaryaction.
