Event Planner/Customer Service Manager
• Manage Event Planning Department, develop standard operating procedure for custom bar package design,
coordinate logistics with clients, multiple vendors and internal staff.
• Manage a team of ten to fifteen employees, perform opening and closing procedures, maintain financial and
human resource records including payroll. Complete daily, monthly and annual reports.
• Responsible for assisting customers with in-store, phone and web orders for will call, local delivery and
shipping. Receive and process special orders and gift orders. Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
Coordinate and plan event and wedding orders. Coordinate in-store and grand tastings and seminars. Sales
assistance in Wine, Beer, Spirits and Gourmet food departments.
• Update product information on company website and store system. Research price and availability of new
products.
• To enhance E-commerce, conduct research on new and current wine selections (varietal, growing region,
reviews, etc.) and add descriptive information to the store website and in-store system.
• Coordinate Wine of the Month Program, including compiling the Program kits, developing an insert with
information about food pairings and reviews of that month’s selection and processing monthly shipments.
