Hello, my name is Emil and I am one of the co-founders and the CEO of ZA Cloud, a technology startup from Cluj-Napoca. In the next ~30 minutes I will be showcasing our flagship product called MediaServista.
My presentation will be focusing on Romania’s first Intelligent Content Curation platform, MediaServista.
The history behind the product,
what is a Content Curation platform,
What is a Discovery engine,
how did we put Artificial Intelligence to good use,
why are publishers and users using it and how,
All these will be detailed shortly after an introduction of our company and team.
ZA Cloud was founded in 2013 in Cluj-Napoca. We have a strong focus on product development and we aim to disrupt the way users interact with online content by using Artificial Intelligence.
Of course, as any software company, we do provide other services outside our own product development, such as mobile development, software and business process outsourcing and consultancy, which means anything from product marketing and presales to customer loyalty strategies.
And, of course, our two most distinctive products which I will detail later. STIRILI, the only intelligent news reader in Romania – available on mobile and web – and the intelligent engine that makes it work – MEDIASERVISTA.
How did we came up with an innovative idea and turned it into a product?
Well, if you just take a look at how the online media space looks like, you can see there is an ongoing “battle” between users, publishers and advertisers, all revolving around content.
Content is what readers aim to read – it is relevant
Content is what publishers strive to produce – so that users visit and engage with their websites
Content is what drives ads – advertising that need to help brands and businesses grow
But what is happening now is that these 3 actors have problems converging in a natural way…
And that is because people still search for content, instead of DISCOVERING it
