1. THESE ARE MY TWO MAGAZINES I CREATED: MY PRELIMINARY TASK
MAGAZINE AND MUSIC MAGAZINE.

2. My college magazine as you can see turned out
Good for a preliminary task magazine but it was not
Like this when I started.
When talking about photography first my
Images weren't as good because I did not pay
Attention at the rules of thirds and I was not
Concerned on the area of where I was taking my
Photos e.g.

3. Both of the photos were not correctly paying attention on its rule
of thirds and its area. I really needed to think about how I can change this habit
of not being concerned about these important rules also the people are not looking
Towards the camera this is not good when the photos are imported in the magazine
because it does not provide any mode of address.

4. Having Gained some feedback on my photos that I had taken previously I took more photos and
gained positive feedback from them. I have improved on my rule of thirds and location in taking photos also
the quality of the picture is brilliant because it does not look blurry or dark so it would be a good picture
To be in my college magazine.

5. As you can see here the font is formal this is because
school magazines should not be compared with music magazines
were their fonts are supposed to be attracting younger or
older audiences with funky fonts but school magazines should be As you can see the layout of my college magazine
more formal and understandable to everyone this is because is organised clearly with and formal because this is
in college they are people who are different in genre so making my college magazine. I learnt that college magazines
magazine a more hip hop style would attract hip hop students but are different to music magazines in layout and fonts it uses
not rock or classical student so its a good idea in making my
magazine formal so everyone can read it
I have learnt how to keep my front cover attractive even
though it looks formal but I used bright colours like yellow
and red to make everything stand out because my target
audiences are college teens
From my contents page I had learnt
how to layout everything
Neatly for the readers to know what
Is going on in their college

6. layout of the music magazine is similar
To the college magazine I have learnt from both magazines that I have
Improved in writing less on my front cover and improving the look
Of my title because it looks more neater in my final piece.
Also when comparing
the two magazines, they
Looked clear
and had been professionally
organised.
From the preliminary task I have
Gained improvements in
in creating a magazine
Fit for its genre e.g. Grime
Magazine intend to be
simple and organised this is
what my target audiences are
attracted by. Seeking
knowledge from other magazines
I have added new feature like
competitions and contact us
I had not added these feature
previously on my college magazine.
I have improved on my conversions from my preliminary task having doing this it has helped me in creating my music magazines with more ideas. Conventions are
really important in term of attracting your target audience so the fact that I have improved in doing this it has then made my magazine more interesting.
