3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
 Verification of isometric drawing with respect to P&ID.
 Inspection of joints fit up, alignment and dimensional accuracy as per ISO
requirements.
 To monitor fabrication & erection activities & ensure that activities performed
are in accordance with project specifications.
 Coordinating with client, consultants while the inspection is being carried out
and offer any clarification is required.
 Witnessing of Flange joint assembly and bolt torque.
 Maintaining welding inspection/NDT reports and record tracking
 Preparation of welding inspection summary/Joint tracking log.
 Controlling Test Packages and submission.
 Checking the lines making punch list.
 Preparation and Documentation of Test packs.
 Witnessing the Hydro/Pneumatic testing of the pipe lines & reinforcing pads.
 Assures that all joints are exposed for examination during pressure test.
 Ensuring vents are open when filling and draining lines.
 Ensure the blinds are removed and correct rating gaskets are installed.
 Making a re-instatement punch list and clearing the items.
 Review of NDT Test Report with TPI or Client.
 Evaluation of pre & post weld heat treatment (PWHT) charts.
 Defect mapping & attain the repair work.
 Inspection of gaskets. Supports, valves prior to line reinstatement acceptance
as per the latest drawing for construction, codes and specification standards.
 Witnessing welder’s qualification test.
 Fit up inspection, welding inspection before, during and after welding.
 Knowledge about various welding processes like SMAW, GTAW etc.
 Offering NDT, conduct and evaluate non-destructive testing (RT, MPT, PT, UT)
Interpretation of RT films.
 Verifying the electrode baking temp and time
 To conduct QC activities as per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
 Preparing welding and Fit up inspection reports
