Introduction
What is Plastic Recycling?
Plastic recycling is the process of recovering scrap or waste plastic and
reprocessing the materials into useful products, sometimes completely different in
form from their original state.
Plastic world
Our unawareness growing plastic in ocean
surface.
Plastic ocean
at least 800 species worldwide are affected by marine
debris, and as much as 80 percent of that litter is
plastic.
Underwater plastic
Microplastic contamination on land is estimated to be
between 4 to 32 times higher than in the oceans.
Plastic on soil
Percentage of plastic used in different fields
Bangladesh imports plastic raw materials
worth Tk 2,000 crore.
Everyday Bangladesh generates around
1,700 tonnes of plastic waste.

Only half of the plastic waste is recycled.
Annually, around 3 lakh tonnes of plastic
waste is dumped in the open.
Decomposition of plastic materials
Plastic beg -- 10-20 years
Plastic straw -- 200 years
Plastic bottle-- 500 years
It reduces the number of
fresh raw materials we use.
It reduces air pollution. It reduces water pollution.
Importance of recycling

Designing of product
it is a revolutionary idea for save the
earth by using plastic bottle create
house for live. It also can reduce
cost than the other materials.
Through disposed plastic polythene
we can create wall met.
Using plastic we can create
Plastic Strapping.
Plastic strow is very essential for
proper use disposed plastic because
we use this every day in our life.

We can collect plastic from school by daily program, As well
as aware student for keep plastic at specific place.
02
Through public awareness and tell them to drop
their disposed plastic in bin .
04
Encouraged restaurant
03
The first step in the recycling process is always collecting
the plastic material that is to be recycled.
01
Many plastic picker in Bangladesh sell
their collected plastic to who buy the
plastic product for resale.
05
company’s transportation system carries raw materials to
dock yard for reproduction .which contain many types of
plastic. Such as
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE or
PET)
Jar 01
Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
Polyethylene roll
02
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
pipe
02
Polypropylene (PP)
03
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
pipe
03
Polystyrene or Styrofoam (PS)
Raw materials transportation
Manufacturing
This occurs based
on shape, density,
size, colour or
chemical
composition.
Sorting
If the plastic is not
processed where it is
sorted, it is often
baled in between for
transport purposes.
Baling
Removal of (often
organic)
contaminants.
Washing
Melting plastic for
creating new plastic
product.
Regeneration
Processing to create
new product which
we designed past.
Process
Producer
After producing producer seek middle men
whom distribute the recycled product who need
this.
Wholesaler
Who buys product a lot from producer for
resale.
Retailer
Retailer buy limited amount of product from
many whole seller. Whom are sale same kind
of product. According to our product we can
say Eco-friendly recycled product.
Consumer
Consumer goes to shop and buy their needed
product .
Distribution channel & consumer
Why these products are consider as a green product ?

3 4
Preventing environmental
pollution
The prices are cheap, it is
possible to purchase for
reproduction
Due to the ability to
renewable.
Obtained from local
manufacturers or resources.
Conclusion
Enormous quantities of plastic are produced and used
It is convenient (use and throw away)
Although some plastics are recyclable, not enough recycled
Laws, economical measures and education helps are necessary
for new initiative about recycling
Thank you
