What's on your PS4 Christmas Games wish list?
ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU - PLAYSTATION 4

The next gen systems are coming soon.
I remember as a young kid getting my first Sega Mega drive for Christmas. My Mum had been acting very suspicious a few days before and I didn't know why.
You see I had thought my not so subtle hints at what I wanted had gone completely unnoticed. In fact my hints where not very subtle at all, they were so shamelessly obvious that you had to be walking around with your eyes shut and your hands in your ears not to notice them.
Like the time I conveniently left the newspaper opened on the table with the Sega Mega drive console circled with a bright red marker pen. Or the times I would slip how awesome the new console looked as we walked past the games store.
No matter how much I hinted, my Mum never seemed to take much notice.
I even made sure I had been on my best behaviour, leading up to the holidays. My grades were excellent as always. I did all my chores before she even asked. I even prayed asking Father Christmas to help persuade my Mum to buy me the games console. Spoiler Alert - (You see by then I was old enough to know Santa Claus wasn't real, but maybe if he was, he could maybe mention a good word on my behalf.)
On Christmas Day I was in high spirits, it was snowing outside, so it had that authentic Christmassy atmosphere to the day. Star Wars Episode 1 was on TV - (Yes!) My mum was busying herself in the kitchen making our favourite breakfast of sweet plantains, fried eggs with onions peppers, and sausages - Yum.
I walked into the living room to see a couple of new boxes under the Christmas tree, they had been slowing piling up for a few days, and curiosity had been getting the better of me all week. When the coast was clear I would go and lift up a few random boxes, to shake it and feel its weight, hoping it was what I had been wishing for.
When it was time to open our presents after breakfast. I ripped through the paper wrappings of each one to discover the goodies that laid beneath . . . and nothing . . . no Sega Mega Drive.
Boy was I disappointed, but still so very very grateful for everything else i did get, like that Rudolf the red nose reindeer sweater.
(Yep just like this one, model by our favourite British Reporter Mr Jon Snow . . . You guys know you got one of those sweaters too, don't lie.)
After my siblings and I had opened all our presents, we went back to what we were doing, which really isn't much on Christmas day. Playing with our new toys, watching Luke Skywalker discover Darth Vader was his Father. (Nooooooooo!)

3. Boy was I disappointed, but still so very very grateful for everything else i did get, like that Rudolf the red nose

(Yep just like this one, model by my favourite British Reporter Mr Jon Snow . . . You guys know you got one of

much on Christmas day. Playing with our new toys, watching Luke Skywalker discover Darth Vader was his
Father. (Nooooooooo!)
I tried not to think about that Sega Mega Drive for the rest of
the day. I knew it was expensive, retailing for $200 dollars at
the time, so it was just wishful thinking I would get it. Before
our main Christmas meal later that day.
My mum had asked me to get a pot out of one of the cupboards
in the kitchen.
It was such an odd request because she was closer to it than I
was. None the less I did as I was told opening the cupboard and
low and behold there it was, my brand new Sega Mega Drive
with Sonic the hedgehog game bundled in.
I don't think I could have been any happier, after seeing it. Mum
had not wanted to show me early in the morning because she
didn't want me or my siblings playing it all day, which we
ended up doing anyway the next day.

4. The playstation 4 is set for a Christmas holiday
release this year and I can just imagine all the
excited boys and girls hinting to their parents about
the PS4, hoping its underneath their Christmas tree.
So my question to you all is what's on your
Playstation 4 Christmas Games wish list. If Santa
Clause flew down from the north pole and asked
you what games you could play right now on
Sony's new next gen console. What games would
you choose and why?
Hopefully, you have all been really good to each
other this year or, Santa may leave you something
more than just hot coal under your fire place.
That way you get what you really want, and they think they got off lightly.
So years later, now that I can actually afford to buy my own things, I reminisce about those good old days and all the fun
me and my siblings and friends had with that Sega Mega drive console. I think about my Mum surprising me the way she
did, and it still makes me smile even now.
Here is a little tip for you boys and girls. If there is
something you really want for Christmas. Suggest
something to your parents so ridiculously expensive
like I don't know a car . . . Okay maybe not a car
but you get my point. When they tell you they are
unable to get you that. Tell them you are
disappointed, but would be happy to settle with the
new Playstation 4 bundle with Watch dogs instead.
