Maven launches Learning Management System to support project managers
1. Maven launches Learning Management System to support
project managers
Maven ¦ 26 April 2011
Maven uses learning technology to support its classroom events
As part of the continuous drive to support the learning experience of project managers, Maven
has launched its new corporate learning management system, MavenNet using IMC’s CLIX
System. Providing high quality and consistent support to all users is standard at Maven and
this new technology will ensure that delegates get that support before they even enter the
classroom.
By using this collaborative environment delegates have instant access to people, content and
activities. This Learning Management System is a flexible and very powerful application allowing
access to all pre-course materials from the moment delegates are booked on a course, giving
them more time to prepare. This includes a plethora of useful information including sample
examination papers, online quizzes and candidate guidance from the examining bodies, etc.,
allowing delegates to familiarise themselves with the subject and prepare questions in advance.
The launch of new supporting e-learning modules designed to aid exam preparation also gives
users the freedom to use the system in a way that complements their own learning.
“A comprehensive, integrated and coherent focus on technology-enhanced learning has been
our goal and this launch is a huge step in the right direction” says Melanie Franklin, CEO at
Maven. “I am extremely pleased with the results so far and planning is now well underway for
improved transfer of knowledge and enriching the level of interaction” she continues.
This communication and interaction empowers delegates and streamlines the learning process
as they interact with fellow delegates and chat with expert Maven trainers who have a wealth of
practical experience.

2. “Since learners have become self-motivated and independently decide where, when, and what
to learn, I believe they will appreciate the flexibility this system brings. Striving for the kind of
experiences our delegates desire and increasingly need is an ongoing aim for me” says Barbara
Pouw, Application Support Manager at Maven.
